Annals of Optimization With Applications is seeking to appoint an Editor-in-Chief

ANOWA, the leading international peer-reviewed journal focusing on Annals of Optimization With Applications, is inviting applications for the position of Editor-in-Chief.

About the Journal
Annals of Optimization With Applications publishes papers on both theoretical and applied aspects of mathematical programming and optimization methodologies in science and engineering. 
In addition to original research, Annals of Optimization With Applications also publishes review articles that examine the state of the art, identify emerging trends, and suggest future directions for developing fields.

Responsibilities of the Editor-in-Chief
The newly appointed Editor-in-Chief will assume full editorial responsibility for the content published in ANOWA. They will ensure that the journal’s high standards, policies, and aims are upheld while overseeing the commissioning of non-research content. The Editor-in-Chief will lead the editorial board and contribute to shaping the journal’s strategic direction.

Ideal Candidates
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Expertise in ANOWA compounds with a notable publication record.
Experience as a journal editor or similar role, with strong peer review and ethical publication knowledge.
Leadership capabilities, with the vision to steer the journal towards further success.
Familiarity with open access publishing and a keen interest in fostering the journal’s growth.
Excellent organizational skills, able to dedicate time regularly to the journal.

Term of Appointment
The position will initially be offered for a term of five years, renewable by mutual consent.
